Battle of the brains

Here's some flicks from a little sketch session I had in the midst of studying for my property and casualty insurance exam. State exams have freaked me out since back when TAAS testing was around Hahaha... (Texas state exam given to students at the end of every fiscal year) I'm probably stressing this test more than I should but, its been difficult focusing energy towards a career I do not plan on having forever. I mean 8 hrs a day studying about liability and gov regulations on your property... Eh, had to take a doodle break. Reminded me of why I'm working here. Why I want to make "big money" with a 9-5... And that's to support what I love, creating.

Painted this  last night at Rev Room during "The Party" while JT MONEEZ, DJ BIG RICH AND DJ JUSTANGEL got down with the best freestyle and bootyshaking music any roller rink in the 90's played! Cien schooled me on some painting techniques and I got offered a spot to paint at SXSW! More details soon!

So.. last night I crawled out of my rabbit hole and broke out the old brushes again! It was nice painting live again. I've been in hibernation so long, I almost felt like a rookie at this! I made mistakes and played them off, gave away free art, managed to get a gallery offer, and... Sold this beautiful lady!
