Jellyfish Mermaid

"Siren"  is one of my favorite paintings I created after spending too much time with my nose buried deep in Glamour and Vogue magazines. What many people don't know is, this was inspired by a nail polish ad and Indian cuisine! Take a look at the ribbon necklace here:

Painted this  last night at Rev Room during "The Party" while JT MONEEZ, DJ BIG RICH AND DJ JUSTANGEL got down with the best freestyle and bootyshaking music any roller rink in the 90's played! Cien schooled me on some painting techniques and I got offered a spot to paint at SXSW! More details soon!

Blue Moon Art Duel (round 2:Mixed Media)

Today is the day! We'll be out wrecking canvas at THE FRIENDLY SPOT for the mixed media theme blue moon duel. This round is more than just paint and canvas so come out and see what kind of creativity comes out of the 20+ artists within 3hrs. Jellyfish Mermaid

One day I was flipping through old fashion magazines and came across an ad where the model had multiple layers and styles of necklaces. I immediately thought it would be so awesome to see a similar image with tentacles as the necklaces. Figured this situation would most likely happen to a mermaid. Heres a taste of my wild imagination.. Enjoy! :D
