"Artsy Fartsy Committee"

So, when your coworkers refer to you as "the artist" ... Well you're the one that is now on charge of making promo signs of encouraging sayings around the office. This has been defaulted on me plenty of times, like when people ask you to draw their tattoo or "paint me something" is thrown around like you carry an easel with you everywhere you go. (i actually used to lol) but as boring as it seems, I'm kinda stoked that something I created will be hung up at work to motivate  my coworkers. I couldn't do the traditional teacher cut out letters so I did what they know me for.. water doodles!

Jellyfish Mermaid

"Siren"  is one of my favorite paintings I created after spending too much time with my nose buried deep in Glamour and Vogue magazines. What many people don't know is, this was inspired by a nail polish ad and Indian cuisine! Take a look at the ribbon necklace here:

Snacking on synonyms

Dessa is such a beautiful inspiration. Her words tells stories I thought no one else had.. her voice is impeccable and she has such a unique style. I'm so grateful my best friend hooked me up with her music and this book... My life would not be the same without any of them. Tissue lunch is filled with recaps of last nights Doomtree show and Dessa's collection of short stories, "spiral bound" ...

So the sun finally came out and made for one of the most beautiful days this season! Everyone I knew was enjoying the weather so my best friend and I hit the streets of downtown and took a stroll on the riverwalk! Storms and Smiles

Texas weather is si unpridictable and I can say the same about rainy days! With the unprictable storms throughout the weekend Zilla and I were left with an unpredictable day that lead us to lunch at Burger Boy off the St. Mary's strip. Tasty burgers, delicious conversation, and a video of two masterminds brain storming!

Battle of the brains

Here's some flicks from a little sketch session I had in the midst of studying for my property and casualty insurance exam. State exams have freaked me out since back when TAAS testing was around Hahaha... (Texas state exam given to students at the end of every fiscal year) I'm probably stressing this test more than I should but, its been difficult focusing energy towards a career I do not plan on having forever. I mean 8 hrs a day studying about liability and gov regulations on your property... Eh, had to take a doodle break. Reminded me of why I'm working here. Why I want to make "big money" with a 9-5... And that's to support what I love, creating.
